It’s 2009, on the 4th anniversary of Fright Factory, another season of mystery is upon us. Thousands have attended these events. But, some stayed by no choice of their own. What was planned to be a fun and exciting social event, only ended in tragedy. The missing people only added to the darkness surrounding this enigma. This season brings a whole new form of fear. You can try and prepare, but this will be like nothing you have ever experienced. You can forget about that hair that use to stand up on the back of your neck. Modesto Home Rescue Fair (community involvement)

The Alliance for Stabilizing Our Communities— a nonprofit partnership including El Concilio —will host a home rescue fair Oct. 31 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Harvest Hall in Modesto, CA to help California’s multicultural communities facing foreclosure identify and procure the best housing solutions possible. Families at risk of foreclosure can attend and benefit from one-on-one sessions with loan specialists, HUD approved housing counselors and attorneys, foreclosure prevention workshops and in-language assistance. In order for counselors to best serve attendees, homeowners will need to bring a series of documents with them, including:•Current pay stubs (within the last 30 days)•2007 and 2008 income-tax returns•Three months of bank statements•Household expense budget•Copy of closing documents and most recent correspondence from your mortgage company•Most recent property-insurance and mortgage statements
