Madden
Hey it's Madden. Welcome to my page!
Raised in Manteca (GO BUFFS!!) I was part of the KHOP Morning Show in 2004 then moved to the east coast, but returned home to KHOP in 2007.
Addicted to shoes, celebrity gossip, Tiffany & Co and coasters. While on the east coast I acquired a love for NASCAR (Go Kasey!), big country boys, and hot cars. I LOVE my job, my family and Tom Brady. I thought Ben Franklin was a president. Always in the middle of drama, but pretend I don't like it. Allergic to penicillin and engagement rings. I don't have a problem expressing my opinion, but sometimes I should keep my mouth shut. Did you know Turkey's lay eggs? I read magazines from back to front. If someone reads my magazine before me, I think they took all the "read" out of it, and get upset. Constantly struggling with my weight. Openly crazy. Google Princess, Myspace Queen.

Better then a bath pillow!
My friend had one of these in the tub when I decided to take a bath. The baby no longer uses it, so I decided to try it out myself. Oh My!!! You know when you want to take a nice warm bath and you lean against the back of the tub and it's hard and cold?? Not with this! The best part? They are not expensive... about $7.

Workin’ On My Fitness
I’m constantly struggling with my weight. Well… It wouldn’t be much of a struggle if I cut the Flamin Hot Cheetohs for breakfast and the daily See’s candy after dinner. So maybe I know what to do, but I still need a little help. I’ve dropped 30 pounds since I’ve been back in
THANKS!!
Work It Girl: At Your Desk Abs
Sitting at your desk doesn't mean you can't work on toning your mid-section. You can work your belly at work without your boss ever knowing you're doing some strength training on the job. All you need to do is pull your navel to your spine, the most basic Pilates move. Here's how:
-Sit up straight, keeping your back away from the back of your chair.
-Exhale and pull your abs to your spine without curving your back. This will feel a little like a corset. It should feel a little like you are bracing for a punch to the abdomen.
-Focus on your low abs; these you can definitely keep engaged while you breathe. Breathe into your back ribs; wherever you have ribs you have lungs. This is a nice stretch for the intercostals, the muscles between the ribs.
Hold for 30 seconds. Do twice an hour.
Oblique Variation: To challenge your oblique (the abs on the side of the torso) a little more simply tilt your torso slightly to the right and hold that position for 30 seconds. Then, of course, reverse the action by tilting to the left so you can keep even.
Tip: You can also work your abs when you're waiting at a long traffic light, when stuck in traffic, or heaven forbid, out on a boring date! Try it right now and let me know how it feels.
